Upgrade Process - Actualización.

    CISCO LINKSYS UPGRADE-ACTUALIZACION.

  • Download the WebFlash version to dd-wrt through the Router database tool Here

  • Descargar la versión Webflash a dd-wrt en la base de datos Aquí

  • Then, once downloaded Upgrade your router with this version through Administration/Update Firmware option

  • Una vez descargada actualizar el router con esta versión a través de la opcion Administración/Actualizar Firmware

    ATTENTION: Follow the instructions given by dd-wrt in the upgrade process, patience.

    ATENCION: Siga las instrucciones de dd-wrt para actualizar el router, no se precipite.

  • Download Tomato RAF version for your router and do next Upgrade using Adminsitration/Firmware option in dd-wrt firmware. Follow browser instructions.

  • Descargar la versión de Tomato RAF para su router y actualizar nuevamente a través del menú Adminstration/Firmware Upgrade. Siga las instrucciones del navegador.

    ATTENTION: Do not disconnect the router during Firmware Upgrade, patience. Remenber to erase nvram ticking the option 'Erase all data in NVRAM (thorough)' in Administration/Configuration/Restore Default Configuration Menu.

    ATENCION: No desconecte el router durante la actualización del Firmware, no se precipite. Recuerde ejecutar un borrado total de la nvram a través de la opción 'Erase all data in NVRAM (thorough)' en el Menú Administration/Configuration/Restore Default Configuration.

  • Once finished the last step your router is ready to be configured acording your network provider.

  • Una vez finalizado este útimo paso el router está listo para ser configurado de acuerdo a los ajustes de su proveedor de Internet.

  • When you access again to your router gui with your browser typing 192.168.1.1 it will ask for your login and password, both names are admin.

  • Al acceder the nuevo al interface del router con su navegador de Internet use la IP 192.168.1.1, le preguntará sus credenciales, en ambos campos debe escribir admin.

    ASUS ROUTERS UPGRADE-ACTUALIZACION.

  • The simplest method is using Asus Restoration firmware tool. You can find in your router CD or Asus web site

  • La manera más sencilla es usar la utilidad Asus Restoration Firmware Tool, la puede encontrar en el CD que viene con su router o en la web de Asus/soporte

    Pasos a seguir - Steps to follow

  • Download Tomato RAF firmware version for your router.

  • Descargar la versión de Tomato RAF para su router.

  • Connect your Router with RESET button pushed until LED power flashes (one every second aprox). Release pressed button.

  • Conecte el Router con el botón de RESET pulsado hasta que el LED Power parpadee (un ciclo por segundo aprox) deje de pulsar el botón de RESET.

    ATTENTION: Fix your network card in an static address IP:192.168.1.5, Netmask: 255.255.255.0, Gateway: 192.168.1.1.

    ATENCION: Ajuste la tarjeta de red en su pc con los siguientes datos, IP:192.168.1.5, Máscara de Red: 255.255.255.0, Puerta de enlace: 192.168.1.1

  • Connect one ethernet cable between your network card and any LAN rear port in your Router.

  • Conectar un cable Etehernet entre la tarjeta de red en su PC y cualquiera de los puertos LAN traseros del router.

  • Launch Asus Restoration Tool utility, select the file to upload to the router (The firmware you downloaded previously) and wait till process advices you has been finished successfully, no rush, grab a coffee meanwhile.

  • Arranque la utilidad Asus Restoration Tool, seleccione el archivo que ha descargado y pulse en Aceptar, espere a que un mensaje de terminado con éxito aparezca, tome un café largo mientras.

  • Restore your network card settings to Auto.

  • Restaurar los ajustes de su tarjeta de red a modo automático.

  • Once finished the last step your router is ready to be configured acording your network provider.

  • Una vez finalizado este útimo aso el router está listo para ser configurado de acuerdo a los ajuses de su proveedor de Internet.
